In Chelsea week, find out all there is to know about plants at at a range of festivals, shows and themed events and then learn how to write about your inspirations too.
Walk in the Woods
Join with community groups, environmental organisations, local authorities and volunteer tree wardens, who are organising walks in the woods including tree and bluebell trails, healthy walking routes and bat and badger watches - all designed to remind us of the importance of trees and the need to plant more for future generations.

Festival of Plants
At this plantathon, you can pop in to the Pop-Up Plant Science marquee to find out about current research, take an expert tour, or drop in to listen to some bite-size science in the Talking Plants Tent. You can also get advice on which plant goes where or how to home compost, pick up some unusual plants for the garden, and have a fun day out making herbal concoctions with the family.

Chelsea Fringe
Chelsea Fringe, the alternative gardening festival, kicks off this week and is bigger and more eclectic than ever. Get involved early by visiting a Floating Garden or the ultimate garden shed at Chelsea Harbour, learning how to Dig, Eat and Dye or how to grow your own living wall at the Athenaeum.
