Grow Wild: grants available for community wild flower growing

Is there a neglected area near to where you live that your community group dreams of transforming? If so, there is still time to apply for flagship site funding of £120,000 which will help turn this eyesore into a wildlife-friendly wild flower patch for everyone to enjoy. Simply contact the Grow Wild campaign with your bright ideas on how to change your blot on the landscape before 14th February.
Grow Wild is a four-year initiative designed to bring people together to sow UK native wild flowers. Funded with £10.5m from the Big Lottery Fund and led by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, the campaign it is hoped will save the UK’s threatened wild flowers and create havens for wildlife.
