The Ultimate Tree House

For a mere £38 million you could be the proud owner of the world’s most luxurious tree house complete with roof-top pool, helipad and water-generated elevator.

The design consists of a hardwood-clad steel trunk, airbrushed to blend in with the surrounding scenery, connected via glass walkways to five projecting pods. Together these pods could provide all the amenities the sybaritic tree dweller could desire – including a gym, napping quarters with hammocks, tree-themed bunk beds and of course a vivarium.

The Tree House is the brainchild of a Northamptonshire company, The Master Wishmakers, in collaboration with the Robb Report – an American luxury-lifestyle magazine.

Fresh from the recent completion of a hand-made pirate island in Cambridgeshire, the firm’s co-founder Sergio Rosella says,” Everything we do is about fun. It is always bespoke and we just let our imaginations run wild.”

The tree house would ideally be constructed in a large woodland space, but if you don’t have one to hand don’t be discouraged. “If someone lives in the desert we could easily import the trees, this tree house is completely buildable in any given scenario,” Rosella claims.
