YoungHort, set up by young horticulturalists to promote the industry to their peers, is to host a second event - The YoungHort Autumn Conference at The LANDSCAPE Show in September.
The conference, aimed at anyone under the age of 25 and those currently studying horticulture, promises to be a great opportunity for networking with inspirational industry experts and other enthusiastic young horticulturists, along with motivational talks and much more.
‘It’s great to be working with The LANDSCAPE Show in London for our next event. It’s allowed for a bigger guest capacity, more trade stands, more talks - super sizing the success of our first event at Wisley in March! I really hope that the day will be inspiring and enjoyable for all attending,’ said Jack Shilley, Director of YoungHort.
YoungHort, was set up in December 2013, to celebrate and support the talents and achievements of young gardeners and to demonstrate how varied, interesting and exciting horticulture can be and in so doing improve the image of the industry and encourage more young people to choose careers in this field.
The Landscape Show takes place on September 24th 2014 in Battersea Park, London
Tickets are free and can be applied for direct from the YoungHort website in sets of 3 online at younghort.com or for large groups (3+) from the events team directly at [email protected].
